Everyday I sing your song, and I make it my song.

Everyday I say your name, and I make it my name.

Not to try to claim the sign, nor to seek in order to find --

but just to liberate my mind.

From the ground to high above--I've been the snake; I've been the dove.

Early morning, late at night--I've been the light, and the blind eye.

Even in the hardest of times, I know I can always find --

a love that liberates my mind.

I feel the beat. I feel the time.

I feel every pitch. I go from low to high.

I tattoo the moon on my inner eye.

I paint white on white. I turn the volume up high.

When I see my love, I just have to sigh.

I rise above, when I hear her say, "Hi."
